Rezumat/Abstract. This paper deals with the importance of the set of public policies in the domain of urbanism developed at national level. In the first part of this paper I debated the concept policy, its practices and tools in our country. In the second part of this paper I approached the elaboration and implementation a public policies in urbanism in the short, medium and long term. In conclusion, I pointed out the importance of national public policies in urbanism area.
